Orders will be shipped out within 5 business days of receiving them, unless your order includes a made to order pair. I am a one woman, mother of two, full time working, business owner, earring maker, marketing team, and order shipper. Please keep this in mind when you shop from me. In the event that orders are delayed (usually the fault of my kids being sick) I will throw in a extra pair of earrings or another freebie.
I understand that my processing times are long and I appreciate that knowing that you have still chosen to shop with me. I do my best to get orders out much faster than the times here but I want to give myself a little wiggle room in case things come up.
Once orders are send to UPS/USPS and they have been scanned by the shipping carrier Bead and Clay is no longer responsible for your order. If the order stays in preshipment for longer than 4 business days please contact me at the email bellow, only at this point will we take responsibility for issuing a refund or resending your order.
In the event that issues do happen, please contact the UPS/USPS first and then reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am not responsible, nor liable for the actions or inactions of USPS/UPS.

Made to orders
Made to order pieces have 4-6 week for processing. They are NOT eligible for returns unless they arrive damaged by the shipping carrier, something that hardly ever happens. You have 3 days from the day of delivery to reach out regarding damages.
Returns / Exchanges
I will honor requests to cancel orders within 24 hours of their purchase, unless they have already been shipped.
If you're unhappy with your item after it is received, please let me know immediately so I can try to resolve any issue.Due to the nature of handmade items, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on customized/ made to order items except in the case of damage during shipping.
In the event that you receive your non made to order earrings and would like to return them. I accept returns of unworn jewelry in its original condition and packaging. Return request are only eligible within 3 days of delivery. Buyer must pay return shipping if a return is requested- must be shipped with tracking and insured for the amount of the earrings.
Any contact made after the three days of delivery, will result not be issued refunds, grant returns, or mail replacements.
Notice of Hand Made Items
All items are handmade, and therefore some small imperfections/inconsistencies (that fall within a normal range for a handmade item) may occur.
What are normal imperfections:
In polymer clay examples of these may include very small bubbles, slight variances of color from what appears on screen, slight variance in drop length, or other small marks that in no way affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of an item.
Pearls often have natural blemishes, each pearl is different so the pearl you see on the picture will not be the same as the one you received if there are not one off pairs.
If you lose an earring, please contact me for the option to purchase one single earring to match the lost one. Not every pair is eligible for replacement beaded earrings tend to all be eligible for replacement as bead colors are standard- but at times some colors will no longer be made. Polymer clay earrings are harder to remake but I will try my best.
Beading thread has memory please store items laying flat or hanging.
